***sigh*** Christmas is coming, it's getting colder already! I can feel it, i was at the terrace last night, i remembered 'bout last year. It is still clear in my head, how i felt that night when i saw the person i once loved, i was close to passing out, weakening knees... i felt someone punched me in the stomach. But the respect still remains, everyone is free to make choices, i dont, and i cant own anyone. "Sorry, i didnt tell you sooner" that message still marked in my head. Like i said, the respect remains, i instinctively trust people because i know this world is not filled with wicked poeple.. i dont want to see the world like that... TAMA NA!!!
Oh well, what i wanna do now.... i wanna go around major bazzar for shopping! Experience the manila traffic, see nice people smiling at each other, kids laughing holding theyre candies, I love this holiday season. but dont forget to share blessing with people who are in need.

Driving Violations
First violation
I was driving already for more than 2 years now. My first was yellow-lane violation, it was sunday and i thought there were no MMDA watching. I was heading to Ayala, i was in Edsa near Robinsons Galleria and will make a U-turn going to Ayala. I was just a new driver and i really dont pay attention with "rules", i didnt realized that i was on the yellow lane [i was already taught by my brother in law about road diciplines and rules when driving], and so since it was sunday, i thought there will be no MMDA around and i was surprised out of nowhere... an MMDA was waving at me, i just wanted to rev up and go fast as i could but, i was scared that they will gonna chase me, so i pulled over. As i opened the window, [i didnt mind sounding stupid, and made a lame excuse that i didnt know those rules are also applied on sunday]. I was also thinking about giving him money {maybe he's one of the "kotong cops" {mulcting cops} hehehe, but i got scared he will put me in jail if i offer him money.. hehehehe.... [i dont know maybe he's one of very few real good cops].Oh well, it was my first time to get caught, [i didnt know what other excuse to tell]...so ended up giving him my license.
Second Violation
Hmmmm... second time around [yellow lane violation],again at EDSA... if im not mistaken in span of less than 2 months [hahaha], same violation. I dont know, i just always forgot this rule... hehehehe... and correct me if am wrong, that when you had 3 consecutive same violations, your license will be confiscated? Anyway, again an MMDA waved at me, they we're 3 of them... again i pulled over, i know, i violated a rule, so then again, i ended up giving him my license. I was in a bad mood and not in the mood to make a story or to lie since my day was shitty.
Third violation
[Swerving] This happened when i took my brother in law to the airport i was with my sister and her kids. On our way home, i got confused which is the right way.. hahaha... [you know how bad i am with directions]. it was easy going to the airport as my bro in law tell me the directions... but on our way back home, it was a little difficult... hahaha.... [oh my 11 years old nephew remembered which way, he got better memory than mine.. hahaha] so we were heading back home and i really didnt know where to turn, and so my nephew said "Tita vie, right turn ka na!" {illegal swerving} and then this time a lady MMDA waved at me, so i pulled over. She seemed easy to talk to, so i tried to make excuses, that i got confused where to turn and which is the right way going to EDSA... but then she wanted to see the license. I asked my sister, if she have 100 pesos. [hahahaha]. Yeah, i knew she wanted money... she's one of "kotong cops". Hahaha, and then she said, i can give her money but in a way that no one will notice that i am giving her money... so i enclosed the money inside my license plastic holder.. and she returned my license..
Fourth Violation
This time its not about the yellow lane. i learned already to follow that rule. This time the "ONE WAY rule" somewhere in Makati, you know the one way streets around makati, confusing for me... [hahahaha], but i know it is a one way, it was already pass 3am, so i thought theres no MMDA watching, i was unlucky that night... behind me was a cop in a huge motorcycle which i didnt noticed. {damn, at 3am..} but my emotions was shitty that night, i acted that i was really tired and wanted to sleep, and feel really sorry for heading the wrong way, i almost cried a little bit, just a little bit but no tears falling from my eyes, the emoting came out naturally cos i feel really shitty that night. And so they let me go. [bleh]
Fifth Violation
There was a time I ran a "red light", only when its really late like pass 12am. This happened recently,i think it was past 2 am, i was heading ortigas extension. i ran a red light and i thought there were no MMDA, again... just saw a "Surprise, i'm here" cops.. was waving with his flash light...i slow down a little bit and smiled and waved... and i rev up and go really fast as i can.. hahaha... lucky me, they didnt chase me... [bleh]...
3 options if i encounter an MMDA
1. Make an excuse, story. Beg. or get mad
2. Cry
3. Flirt {so far never done flirting with cops] hahaha...
Message to the MMDA.The painted yellow lanes on the EDSA highway?! w
here buses are supposed to stay, if they stray out they will be arrested?!! BUT watch EDSA anytime of the day, buses strays out ofthe yellow lanes and no one is arresting them even if they are in plain sight of traffic aides. They should be arrested... bastards....
Oh well this is PHILIPPINES... oh is this for real?!!! how come i didnt get any tickets?!!!
The MMDA has identified the five most common traffic infractions of private vehicles as: yellow lane violation with a fine of 300 pesos;[i paid 300php twice, hmmm, i learned this rule] disregarding traffic signs, 150 pesos;[hmmmm... cops, let me go of my crying chuba.. hahaha, bleh..] obstruction, 150 pesos; and swerving, 500 pesos [hmmm, glad the lady cop accept my 100 pesos "kotong" offer... hehehe.]

MTV Music Summit Tour
I witnessed the rockin' performance of "Mig Ayesa" [Rockstar INXS Finalist] last night. He's hot! Definitely a hottie...
I got an VIP ticket from my friend Marc, who invited to watch the concert. I wanted to see Mig perform live and some other pinoy bands, like... Cueshe, Imago and Stonefree. Too bad i missed the performances from Stonefree and Cueshe, god damn battery of my digicam got drained. We looked for a nearest convenience store to buy a battery, we walked for like 20-30 mins.... Glad that i was able to catch Mig Ayesa before my battery got drained.

After my 2nd ride which is the "flying carpet", I tried to hold my breath, for a second, taking a deep breath, trying not to vomit but i cannot hold it anymore, so i ran quickly to the toilet... it was a relief, i wasn't feeling really good. Glad that i didnt made a mess somewhere, that would be really embarrassing.

Feast of St. Clement, Annual Event in Angono, Rizal

My hometown, where i grew up. The "Higante Festival" which held every year in honor of "St. Clement", ("Patron Saint of the Fishermen"). This event is celebrated on the 23rd of November. Higantes (Giants) are made of paper-mache. The "Higantes" are consist of the father, mother and child. Higantes are measured 10-12 feet in height and 4-5 feel in diameter. Higantes costume and its inner body are made of bamboo, rattan and thin iron bars. The heads of the higantes are made from mold clay and dried under the sun. On the event, these "Higantes" are paraded in town.

There are 2 men helping each higantes walk by controlling it from inside throughout the entire event. The heads has two holes for each man to see through, other holes are made on the higante's clothing to help the men see beneath. When i was young, me, my sister and my father go to the town to witness the event, in my entire life.. i only witnessed the festival once... found this old picture which my father took from the event... (year 1988-1989), yeah that was me....
I might come visit my hometown this year, and see this Festival.. i havent witness for a long time.... i am currently staying in Pasig, we moved a couple of years ago..
ANGONO, RIZAL
ANGONO, Art Capital of the Philippines.

Angono lies between Laguna Lake and the foot-hills of the Sierra Madre, some 30 kilometers from Manila. Angono is an ordinary town with a plaza and busy market, but nothing is ordinary about Angono. It is home to many of the country’s finest artists. Maybe it’s the rugged and hilly landscapes or sleepy fishing villages that inspired these painters.
Angono is popularly known as the ART CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES. Angono was home to two National Artist of the Philippines awardees, Carlos V. Francisco for Painting (1973) and Lucio D. San Pedro for Music (1991). It is also known for the Philippines' oldest prehistoric work of art, the Angono Petroglyphs although it sits along the boundaries of Angono, Binangonan and Antipolo of the province of Rizal.
Other known artists in Angono are Vicente Reyes, Salvador Juban, Bobet Andres, Weweng Unidad, Lito Balagtas, Cesar T. Hernandez et. al. The Nemiranda Arthouse and the Blanco Museum are two of the most well known Art Museum in Angono that are habitat of art connoisseurs and tourists.
HOW DID ANGONO GET INTO ARTS? The Angono PETROGLYPHS, which was discovered in the 60s, was found to have etched drawings on the rock surface of the cave in the mountain forest of Angono. Archeologist from the National Museum confirmed that the age of the rock art drawings based on their studies of rock sedimentation was 3,000 years-old.
Angono has been known as the cradle of the arts or the fountain of talents.
Angono has achieved substantial economic progress over the years. What started out as a small fishing and farming based municipality, it has developed to modern one which boasts of many small to medium sized local business concerns. Most major banks in the country have local branches. National retail chains like popular fastfood brands, have local outlets. It has a modern telecommunication system in place, offering telephone (same area code as greater Manila), cable TV, internet service and others.
For a taste of exotic food, there is the Balaw-Balaw Restaurant, which is also an art gallery, right across the Nemiranda Art Cafe and Restaurant. The former's name was derived from the local side dish mainly made from fermented small shrimp. Besides the famous Balaw-Balaw Restaurant's cuisine, Angono is also known for its tasty fried "itik", or duck. Local Filipino snacks, or "kakanin" can also be found at the Angono Public Market.
