December, December again........

***sigh*** Christmas is coming, it's getting colder already! I can feel it, i was at the terrace last night, i remembered 'bout last year. It is still clear in my head, how i felt that night when i saw the person i once loved, i was close to passing out, weakening knees... i felt someone punched me in the stomach. But the respect still remains, everyone is free to make choices, i dont, and i cant own anyone. "Sorry, i didnt tell you sooner" that message still marked in my head. Like i said, the respect remains, i instinctively trust people because i know this world is not filled with wicked poeple.. i dont want to see the world like that... TAMA NA!!!
Oh well, what i wanna do now.... i wanna go around major bazzar for shopping! Experience the manila traffic, see nice people smiling at each other, kids laughing holding theyre candies, I love this holiday season. but dont forget to share blessing with people who are in need.

Driving Violations

First violation
I was driving already for more than 2 years now. My first was yellow-lane violation, it was sunday and i thought there were no MMDA watching. I was heading to Ayala, i was in Edsa near Robinsons Galleria and will make a U-turn going to Ayala. I was just a new driver and i really dont pay attention with "rules", i didnt realized that i was on the yellow lane [i was already taught by my brother in law about road diciplines and rules when driving], and so since it was sunday, i thought there will be no MMDA around and i was surprised out of nowhere... an MMDA was waving at me, i just wanted to rev up and go fast as i could but, i was scared that they will gonna chase me, so i pulled over. As i opened the window, [i didnt mind sounding stupid, and made a lame excuse that i didnt know those rules are also applied on sunday]. I was also thinking about giving him money {maybe he's one of the "kotong cops" {mulcting cops} hehehe, but i got scared he will put me in jail if i offer him money.. hehehehe.... [i dont know maybe he's one of very few real good cops].Oh well, it was my first time to get caught, [i didnt know what other excuse to tell]...so ended up giving him my license.

Second Violation
Hmmmm... second time around [yellow lane violation],again at EDSA... if im not mistaken in span of less than 2 months [hahaha], same violation. I dont know, i just always forgot this rule... hehehehe... and correct me if am wrong, that when you had 3 consecutive same violations, your license will be confiscated? Anyway, again an MMDA waved at me, they we're 3 of them... again i pulled over, i know, i violated a rule, so then again, i ended up giving him my license. I was in a bad mood and not in the mood to make a story or to lie since my day was shitty.

Third violation
[Swerving]
This happened when i took my brother in law to the airport i was with my sister and her kids. On our way home, i got confused which is the right way.. hahaha... [you know how bad i am with directions]. it was easy going to the airport as my bro in law tell me the directions... but on our way back home, it was a little difficult... hahaha.... [oh my 11 years old nephew remembered which way, he got better memory than mine.. hahaha] so we were heading back home and i really didnt know where to turn, and so my nephew said "Tita vie, right turn ka na!" {illegal swerving} and then this time a lady MMDA waved at me, so i pulled over. She seemed easy to talk to, so i tried to make excuses, that i got confused where to turn and which is the right way going to EDSA... but then she wanted to see the license. I asked my sister, if she have 100 pesos. [hahahaha]. Yeah, i knew she wanted money... she's one of "kotong cops". Hahaha, and then she said, i can give her money but in a way that no one will notice that i am giving her money... so i enclosed the money inside my license plastic holder.. and she returned my license..

Fourth Violation
This time its not about the yellow lane. i learned already to follow that rule. This time the "ONE WAY rule" somewhere in Makati, you know the one way streets around makati, confusing for me... [hahahaha], but i know it is a one way, it was already pass 3am, so i thought theres no MMDA watching, i was unlucky that night... behind me was a cop in a huge motorcycle which i didnt noticed. {damn, at 3am..} but my emotions was shitty that night, i acted that i was really tired and wanted to sleep, and feel really sorry for heading the wrong way, i almost cried a little bit, just a little bit but no tears falling from my eyes, the emoting came out naturally cos i feel really shitty that night. And so they let me go.
[bleh]

Fifth Violation
There was a time I ran a "red light", only when its really late like pass 12am. This happened recently,i think it was past 2 am, i was heading ortigas extension. i ran a red light and i thought there were no MMDA, again... just saw a "Surprise, i'm here" cops.. was waving with his flash light...i slow down a little bit and smiled and waved... and i rev up and go really fast as i can.. hahaha... lucky me, they didnt chase me... [bleh]...

3 options if i encounter an MMDA
1. Make an excuse, story. Beg. or get mad
2. Cry
3. Flirt {so far never done flirting with cops] hahaha...

Message to the MMDA.The painted yellow lanes on the EDSA highway?! where buses are supposed to stay, if they stray out they will be arrested?!! BUT watch EDSA anytime of the day, buses strays out ofthe yellow lanes and no one is arresting them even if they are in plain sight of traffic aides. They should be arrested... bastards....

Oh well this is PHILIPPINES... oh is this for real?!!! how come i didnt get any tickets?!!!

The MMDA has identified the five most common traffic infractions of private vehicles as: yellow lane violation with a fine of 300 pesos;[i paid 300php twice, hmmm, i learned this rule] disregarding traffic signs, 150 pesos;[hmmmm... cops, let me go of my crying chuba.. hahaha, bleh..] obstruction, 150 pesos; and swerving, 500 pesos [hmmm, glad the lady cop accept my 100 pesos "kotong" offer... hehehe.]

MTV Music Summit Tour

I witnessed the rockin' performance of "Mig Ayesa" [Rockstar INXS Finalist] last night. He's hot! Definitely a hottie...
I got an VIP ticket from my friend Marc, who invited to watch the concert. I wanted to see Mig perform live and some other pinoy bands, like... Cueshe, Imago and Stonefree. Too bad i missed the performances from Stonefree and Cueshe, god damn battery of my digicam got drained. We looked for a nearest convenience store to buy a battery, we walked for like 20-30 mins.... Glad that i was able to catch Mig Ayesa before my battery got drained.

Hottie, hottie.... so hottie...

Rachel, Adrian and Me..

Yeah, Mig looks exhausted after his performances,[as you see in his foto] he really rockz, but Mig was really nice and amiable to everybody and accomodated every photo request. He gave such a kick ass performance last night.

Carnival Tour [Nov.28]

Went to Star City with high schoolmates, here are some fotos taken before and after i threw up. .:+~ewwww~+:.

After my 2nd ride which is the "flying carpet", I tried to hold my breath, for a second, taking a deep breath, trying not to vomit but i cannot hold it anymore, so i ran quickly to the toilet... it was a relief, i wasn't feeling really good. Glad that i didnt made a mess somewhere, that would be really embarrassing.

Something Special....

There is still something special and magical about receiving a personal touch from someone by post, even in this age of techonology where instant messaging, email, SMS, it warms my heart when i received a delightfully addressed in a handwritten message by mail.

Feast of St. Clement, Annual Event in Angono, Rizal

My hometown, where i grew up. The "Higante Festival" which held every year in honor of "St. Clement", ("Patron Saint of the Fishermen"). This event is celebrated on the 23rd of November. Higantes (Giants) are made of paper-mache. The "Higantes" are consist of the father, mother and child. Higantes are measured 10-12 feet in height and 4-5 feel in diameter. Higantes costume and its inner body are made of bamboo, rattan and thin iron bars. The heads of the higantes are made from mold clay and dried under the sun. On the event, these "Higantes" are paraded in town.

There are 2 men helping each higantes walk by controlling it from inside throughout the entire event. The heads has two holes for each man to see through, other holes are made on the higante's clothing to help the men see beneath. When i was young, me, my sister and my father go to the town to witness the event, in my entire life.. i only witnessed the festival once... found this old picture which my father took from the event... (year 1988-1989), yeah that was me....

I might come visit my hometown this year, and see this Festival.. i havent witness for a long time.... i am currently staying in Pasig, we moved a couple of years ago..

ANGONO, RIZAL

ANGONO, Art Capital of the Philippines.

Angono lies between Laguna Lake and the foot-hills of the Sierra Madre, some 30 kilometers from Manila. Angono is an ordinary town with a plaza and busy market, but nothing is ordinary about Angono. It is home to many of the country’s finest artists. Maybe it’s the rugged and hilly landscapes or sleepy fishing villages that inspired these painters.

Angono is popularly known as the ART CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES. Angono was home to two National Artist of the Philippines awardees, Carlos V. Francisco for Painting (1973) and Lucio D. San Pedro for Music (1991). It is also known for the Philippines' oldest prehistoric work of art, the Angono Petroglyphs although it sits along the boundaries of Angono, Binangonan and Antipolo of the province of Rizal.

Other known artists in Angono are Vicente Reyes, Salvador Juban, Bobet Andres, Weweng Unidad, Lito Balagtas, Cesar T. Hernandez et. al. The Nemiranda Arthouse and the Blanco Museum are two of the most well known Art Museum in Angono that are habitat of art connoisseurs and tourists.

HOW DID ANGONO GET INTO ARTS? The Angono PETROGLYPHS, which was discovered in the 60s, was found to have etched drawings on the rock surface of the cave in the mountain forest of Angono. Archeologist from the National Museum confirmed that the age of the rock art drawings based on their studies of rock sedimentation was 3,000 years-old.

Angono has been known as the cradle of the arts or the fountain of talents.

Angono has achieved substantial economic progress over the years. What started out as a small fishing and farming based municipality, it has developed to modern one which boasts of many small to medium sized local business concerns. Most major banks in the country have local branches. National retail chains like popular fastfood brands, have local outlets. It has a modern telecommunication system in place, offering telephone (same area code as greater Manila), cable TV, internet service and others.

For a taste of exotic food, there is the Balaw-Balaw Restaurant, which is also an art gallery, right across the Nemiranda Art Cafe and Restaurant. The former's name was derived from the local side dish mainly made from fermented small shrimp. Besides the famous Balaw-Balaw Restaurant's cuisine, Angono is also known for its tasty fried "itik", or duck. Local Filipino snacks, or "kakanin" can also be found at the Angono Public Market.

More Lesson Learned.....

Crying, does makes really worked for you to feel better, but dont forget that there comes a time that you need to smile... let smiling do the work sometimes..

i learned to love myself, with that i will know how to love other people.

I learned that letting go is the most hard thing to do, but very necessary and the most enriching.

Every single day that you wake up, is another chance to grow... There's no "LIMIT" for growth.

Important Lesson....

I learned a valuable lesson, Life is a continuous process of learning and exploring, I learned that although i am very emotional and sentimental, i dont have to drown in my feelings all the time, "There are lot of reason to be cheerful and to be realistic. There are somethings that happened from the past that you can't come back, just when u think you're am ok, but realize that the pain still there, like it just happened last week, even just last month, or even a year... it still reflects in your mind.... that's ok, BUT strive for your happiness..........

I know i will be happy, i know what i am capable of, and

i have someone special who's making my world better and most importantly, i have someone who I want to share my world.

"You are not the same body you were last week or even yesterday, or even last year.... you are changing - all day everyday, that's why there's a new you on a daily basis..."

Unforgettable Toilet Stories...

Part I
This happens few years back, LBM and UTI on mission.... i was thinking why the gods or urine and excrement doing this.. what did i do?!

One day on my way home, i feel something weird in my tummy, i feel extreme pain twisting in my stomach, yeah i suffered from Loose Bowel Movement, i was sweating inside the car, trying to drive past to get home and deliver the most urgent call of nature. I cant imagine myself making mess inside the car, squirting the highly unpleasant, morally foul, feces covering the seats.... ahhhh..NO!!! i dont want the inside of my car be covered with feces.. so i have to push the gas pedal, get home before it squirt out...i need to go to the TOILET quickly... i was also thinking why not try to pull over to the nearest gasoline station, so i did, unfortunately........... the "womens toilet was locked" arrgggg.... i didnt waste time to ask, im pretty sure i cannot use the toilet, i saw rust and its unfinished structure, and the scent wasn't really good.......... arrrgggg... so i quickly ran to my car and drive as fast as i can......... I was near... yeah... come on.. go... go...

Finally,on my arrival, i was safe, but i know my favorite underwear and pants aren't safe anymore from the thick odorous substance that needs to let out.... I ran quickly to the toilet... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... it was such a huge relief... to my tummy.... ahhhhh...

I was already wondering what i have eaten...while im in the toilet... "I must have eaten something terribly bad.." Hmmmm.....I have eaten a lot that day and i really cannot remember which of which made my tummy suffer............" After a few hours... i felt a circular pain motion in my tummy for the 2nd time after a few hours i poop...... oh My.... i feel it again.... "I need to drop the kids to the pool" another call from the Gods of Excrement........ whew! i finished, i felt a nice relief after the 2nd poop... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water... sat on the couch... "think, think" what did i eat, that made me sick?!" Hmmmmm..."I still dont know!"

I decided to go to the store to get a medicine.. cos i really cannot take it anymore.... the pain and the smell.. hehehe... made me feel more sick.... so i took the medicine... hoping that it will go away... after a few minutes... the same pain in my tummy strikes again... ahhhhhhhhh... TOILET! well.. fortunately.. it wasn't bad as the 1st and 2nd... i felt it would be the last... ahhhhhhhhh.. and yeah.. it was the last.. and i didnt feel the pain after my 3rd poop.... Thanks, DiaTabs!

PART II

Same week when i had LBM, after 3 days... i woke up in the morning went to the toilet for the daily morning routine... I pee.... i usually look the toilet bowl everytime i pee... on the last drop of my pee... i noticed... traces of blood.. i know it wasnt my monthly period... i thought... could it be... UTI?

Same day... I went to see a OB-Gyne.... i had urinalysis... i got the result after an hour and yeah.. it was UTI... so my Dr. gave me prescription...bought the medicine.. i have to take for 1 week... i should be fine after 1 week.. the antibiotic worked great... at the end of the week... no more traces of blood... ahhhh.....

Reality TV Shows

As you noticed.. i changed my layout, how's that, huh? Anyway, i was browsing the net and browsed PINOY big brother site.. and then searched for big brother in other coutries. and i found about dutch big brother which was aired in 1999 and had proven to be succesful and now we have it here in Philippines..

It sounds like "pinoy big brother" is kinda boring...( i like watching it though) but the real factor isn't there its like they're just too guarded and it seems like that theyre just "acting"... the reality thing is almost vanishing..

The past few weeks.......

oh well, i am back, there are somethings to take care of and my computer wasn't working for almost a month, i replaced my hard disk, so its working now because of my brand new hard drive. Three weeks ago i went partying with friends all night at Eastwood Libis "The Basement" it was my second time to go that bar, it was really crowded that night, i really didnt like it when its too crowded but they all want to go there, i am easy going so.. i can be anywhere, it was fun though.. i stayed out real late.. i got home 6 am! Had a late chat with friends.

Early this month, my car was wrecked,it wasn't my fault, i was not the one driving. My eldest sister took the car, with her friend (which i dont know who he is) -i wont trust anyone to drive the car next time- well, she tried to learn to drive but dont know what the heck she did, i didnt heard any explanation to her when she returned the car.My car was brought to the shop, took 1 week to fix,... I miss the bottleneck Manila traffic though, lovely tunes when i hear jeepneys blowing their horns and cursing from other drivers.. funny to hear them says "putang ina mo" ***mother (&c()r***, people crossing the street.

Last week, i had cleaned out the negative energy and get a new vibe going.[like my bedroom] "its time to get the energy moving and grooving again," I boxed them, to the bin, store them, just putting them away.

MOBILE PHONE POLITENESS
someone was persistent, who kept calling, but instead of being polite, someone just left their mobile phone ringing. yeah got the trick worked, finally got the message.. ?!!!

Last night,[almost everynight] been busy watching
"Pinoy Big Brother" {its a reality tv series aired everyday,{ABS CBN channel 2} where 12 strangers will be staying under one roof for 100 days, a house where TV, radio, newspapers, phonelines and mobile phones are non-existent, watching their moves all day with cameras in every corner of the house.}, dont know why i liked watching it, perhaps im tired or watching scripted soap operas.

Today, i spent my whole morning with Gil, here's some part of our chat: I love this part...

GiLman: but we have to wait a little longer
GiLman: they better freaken hurry up
babevian: yes.. tel them to hurry up.. im loosing my patience.. hehe
GiLman: i have already lost mine
GiLman: i had one left going into this past week....but they are all gone now
babevian: hehehe.. but please wait for me baby...
GiLman: baby

GiLman: i dont want anyone else
GiLman: i will not accept anyone else

GiLman: you are the one for me
GiLman: it took me this long to find you
GiLman: i am not letting you go over a little waiting

True Love.........

Everybody is waiting for love to come their way, finding the "true happiness" that they will treasure through their entire life... I believe there's nothing perfect in this world, there will be some problems in relationships but when two people learn to love and accept each other and willing to listen, they will over come every problems that might come.

I Love you, baby.....I feel so blessed that i met a person like you... thanks for coming into my life........

Travel FLashbacks... Thailand (Jan. 2005)

After few days in Bangkok,we decided to leave for Thailand island get away, Phuket island and Kata Beach. Bangkok has a lot to offer, nice foods, shopping, different kind of entertainment, culture, sex (for hungry tourist) and a lot more. We entered one of the place, where so called "entertainment" is held... its a live show... "The Fresh Boy" hahaha.....i had an encounter with one of them (not what your thinking, YOU, dirty thinker!) he just hand me a calling card as we walked out of the place... well, lets admit it, there will always be sex tourist, which doesnt exist only in Thailand but also in some other countries..

But Thailand is thailand, there are other lots of things to do, Thailand has a lot more to offer, the wonderful beaches and islands..
We were in Koh Chang and i had a embarrasing experienced, a slight accident... hehehehe... but im glad i didnt injured myself, or else i wont enjoy the island hopping..

Watching people in Makati..

Makati still a business district or should we use the term "Ma-ka-ti" hehehehe "prostitution district"? I used to hang out with my friends in Greenbelt Makati, well we try to avoid the place Cafe Havana, as it is known to be a place for "prostitutes" I have noticed it for years, recently i noticed its surrounded by ugly looking hookers, hehehehe... lower part of Greenbelt seems to be a horrible place now... well later after dinner you will see! In the morning it was nice there though... but you should try to watch people around late at night.. hehehehe...

You could see fat balding old foreigners, expats, tourist... searching for "meat" hehehehe...they always feel they could catch a "fresh lady.. hahahaha"

You should try to walked around and see for yourself whats going on, if your in the mood to have a fun, hilarious night.. hahahaha... it is indeed FUN, hahahaha... my friends are making fun of the hookers rating them from 0-10.. hahaha.. they give them a -negative 3 rating.. hahaha..

"my goodness gracious, oh my... bloody bar cafe... hookers are everywhere! watch out, there are lady men around too! hahahahaha.....

Sometimes, i feel uncomfortable having a white man with me, cos my fiance is american and you know people assuming that "that girl is a mail order bride.." ...... hmp!

Critical Mind: REal Lovers or Rented Lover.

Everytime i see a mismatched couples anywhere, i always think naively they were "real Lovers".... i was walking with my fiance at Manila Bay and with my quiet observation on what i noticed around, a foreign guy, in his middle age and a girl, early 20's, Filipina, i dont want to sound critical but i knew she was a prostitute, with her color coded face, hehehe.. full of make up!! with matching flaunty dressed in around Manila bay?! What the heck!...

Oh well, i know it would be hard to distinguish them...i guess you all know how i feel when i have my fiance with me.. so i always want to look decent and try to avoid places which are surrounded by some bitches... hehehehe... we dont know what people think... i dont care, though... hmmp!
